InWEnt and now known as GIZ and
its SAARC regional partner -SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council
(SCWEC) launched CHANCE, the Chamber and Advisory Network for Women
Entrepreneurs, to strengthen and to empower women entrepreneurs.
In Asia, CHANCE collaborates with SCWEC (SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneur
Council), a Council of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
to provide inputs on Capacity Building and Strategic Management
to Businesswomen's Associations across the region. CHANCE supports
organizations of women entrepreneurs and trade intermediaries at
national and regional levels through training, dialogue and networking.
GIZ supports their partners by offering demand-driven, tailor-made
and effective services for sustainable development. They apply
a holistic and value-based approach to ensure the participation
of all stakeholders. In doing so, they are always guided by their
concept of sustainable development. They take account of political,
economic, social and ecological dimensions as they support their
partners at local, regional, national and international level
in negotiating solutions in the broader social context.
